Day 1
We tried to have a special dinner. Marianna chose to ruin the friendship by refusing to drive to Chipotle for burritos.
(Photo of actual event unavailable)
Paige chose to ruin the friendship by reserving the room in which we hold church in, rather than SGA house

And Megan simply got violent
Day 1 recap: Still friends, although slightly battered and scraped from a near barfight.

Introduction and Goals
The friendship began in the Fall of 2005. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, the five friends arrived from all corners (excluding the south east one) of the United States, ready to begin their stay at the elite liberal arts college of their choosing. For that first year they were inseperable, quickly alienating their hallmates and becoming the "cool kids". Sophomore year spread them across their bucolic campus, yet they still united every night at 5 for dinner. Together they made plans to live life together, forming a commraderie that movies are made about. Junior year brought their biggest trial as poor planning left two of them going abroad in the fall, two going abroad in the spring, and one staying behind in her room. The friendships continued with the help of blogs and facebook, but there was no denying that things had changed. Come the begining of Senior year, two new friends had joined the group. With one of those new friends soon came a boyfriend, a concept fairly new to the group despite the fact that one member had had a boyfriend for much of college. It was weird, to say the least
Now the group stands on the edge of their college career. Seven weeks (hopefully) from graduation the prospect of maintaining long distance friendships next year is as daunting as finding a new job. Rather than put together a plan as to how they will make it work, the group has decided to say "fuck it" and destroy whatever they can of the friendship. Through a series of pranks, art projects, community service activities and forced field trips, the group will demolish their carefully constructed friendship, much like the Ise shrine of Ise, Japan. This time, however, they won't rebuild it. It's going to be hard as they kinda, sorta like each other. It will also be hard because four years of seeing each other day in and day out has left them fairly in tune with each other, nothing is unexpected anymore.
Please follow this blog as the group embarks on our journey. Check back often for updates on activities and projects. We also encourage our readers to get involved, providing suggestions for pranks and betting on who will snap first. We hope that you will support us in our journey of exploration and discovery.
